Daily guided tours are offered by the Honorary guides.

During the choir term evensong is sung each day by the Cathedral Choir or the Abbey Girls Choir. In holidays visiting choirs sing on Saturday and Sunday, and sometimes during the week. Downstairs in the Chapter House.

Facilities for disabled

There is level access via the Slype Door between the church and chapter house and ramped access on the north side of the nave. Inside there is ramped access to most ground floor areas. Wheelchairs available. There is an accessible toilet in the south ambulatory. There is a touch and hearing centre for the visually impaired and a Braille guide plan is available from the Information Desk. Special tours can be arranged for groups with special needs. The public address system has an inductive loop facility.

Parking

There is very limited parking, for Disabled Badge holders only in Sumpter Yard. There are several multi-story car parks signed within the town. There is a large car park near Westminster Lodge at the bottom of the hill where there is also coach parking.

Access by road from A1 and M1 (from the North and South) or M25 (from West and East). Easy rail access from London on Thameslink line (approx. 30 minutes from Central London)
