- Jesus Christ
- 1) Jesus is understood by Christians to be both human and divine – God made flesh. He is human in his birth and experience of this world and divine in his response and obedience to God. He describes himself in the Gospels as the ‘Son of Man’ but since his resurrection the Church has understood him to be the ‘Son of God’.
